MAFP IS SEEKING KEY CONTACTS

If you have an interest in the political process, the MAFP needs to hear from you. If you have a relationship with one of our representatives or senators, the MAFP needs to hear from you.

The MAFP is seeking members willing to serve as key contacts to their state and U.S. representatives. Key contacts are constituents who, by phone or personal contact, urge their own representatives to vote on a particular issue in the interest of family physicians and our patients. Serving as a key contact is not difficult, but it is very important.

The purpose of the key contact program is to build a strong, on-going relationship with legislators. The success of the program depends on the involvement and support of our grassroots network.

If you are interested in serving as a key contact for a representative or senator on either the state or federal level, please e-mail, call or fax the MAFP office as soon as possible.
