David G. Hall, M.D. Memorial Scholarship

The Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians Foundation Board of Trustees established the David G. Hall, M. D. Memorial Scholarship to award scholarships to Mississippi high school seniors who have an aptitude in the sciences and an interest in pursuing a career in the field of medicine. Interested students may write a 500-word essay titled, "The Family Physician: Providing Your Medical Home" and submit it to their school counselor. Each school may submit one winning essay to the Foundation for entry in the State contest. The essay should describe the impact of their personal Family Physician in their life and/or the role of the Family Physician in his or her community.
